I fell in love with sewing at a very young age. Later, I took a training class in uniform sewing, but that wasn't what I wanted to do. I started making bags, and it just kept going from there.

Creativity rooted in the Kalinago Territory
Yda Graneau is from the Kalinago Territory in Dominica. Her love for sewing began at a young age and eventually grew into a creative journey focused on pieces that allow her individuality and craftsmanship to shine.
After training in uniform sewing, Yda realised she wanted to create something more personal and expressive. She began making bags, then expanded into hats, headbands, earrings, and one-of-a-kind custom pieces.
Yda's Sewing Creation has been growing since 2013.
